Our Studios
KS Dance Studio, founded in February 2011 by Karm-Syndia Augustin, is a dynamic and inclusive dance organization rooted in the greater Boston area, with an additional location in Taunton, MA.
For over a decade, the studio has been a vital part of the local community, participating in cultural events and touching hearts with its passionate performances. KS Dance Studio offers a broad range of dance classes—including Ballet, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Haitian Folklore, Liturgical, Lyrical, Contemporary, Zumba, Belly dancing and Social Dances—open to students of all ages and skill levels. The studio’s inclusive approach ensures that everyone has an opportunity to explore their love for dance, regardless of their background or experience.
One of the core values that drive KS Dance Studio is making dance accessible to all. This is reflected in their affordable programs, which allow people from diverse communities to engage in the arts. The studio’s annual theatrical productions, such as *Magical Garden*, *Cinderella*, and *Genesis, The Journey from Hispaniola to Haiti*, are another key feature of its mission to celebrate culture and creativity while offering students a platform to showcase their talents.

Karm-Syndia A.
Karm-Syndia is a professional dancer, choreographer, dance instructor and dance award recipient. She studied Haitian Folklore, Hip Hop and Jazz at Joelle Donatien-Belot Ecole de Dance in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After moving to the United States in 2009, she continued her dance studies in Modern, Contemporary and Ballet at Pine Manor College where she graduated with a minor in dance. Karm-Syndia was also a member of the Dance Ensemble, the Pine Manor College dance team.
Over the years Karm-Syndia has made a name for herself in the dance industry performing at prestigious events such as the Haiti Movie Awards, community events, choreographing for musical artists videos (Disip, Darline Desca, Carolina Marius).
