GENESIS- The Journey from Hispaniola to Haiti

Haiti's history from the Tainos to 1804 is a complex narrative of colonization, slavery, revolution, and independence. The show carefully treats those subjects by presenting choreographies in those specific sceneries. Actors, dancers, set decor, costumes etc…all come into a perfect unison to transport the audience in a time travel experience.

The audience witness all the key moments leading to the creation of the free nation: the unity movement between the slaves, the revolution, the well known victory and the creation of the flag. The show ends with the Haitian National Anthem where the leaders of the revolutions are honored for their courage.
